Radhanagar Beach
Radhanagar Beach, also known as Beach No. 7, is considered the most stunning beach on Havelock Island. It was recognized as the Best Beach in Asia and ranked 7th Best Beach in the World by Time Magazine. The golden sands gleam under the soft sunlight, while waves gently crash in shades of frothy turquoise. With a brilliant blue sky overhead and an endless stretch of lush, green coastline, Radhanagar Beach offers a truly picturesque and serene experience. It’s a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Elephant Beach
Elephant Beach is a prime spot for snorkeling, thanks to its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. You can reach it by a 40-minute ride on a small cruise boat from Havelock Jetty. Alternatively, one can travel by road up to the Forest Camp (8 km from the Jetty en route to Radhanagar Beach) and then trek for another 40 minutes through a scenic trail to the beach. Several private ferry operators also organize tours to Elephant Beach from Havelock.
Kalapathar Beach
Located on the eastern edge of Havelock Island, Kalapathar Beach derives its name from the nearby Kalapathar Village and the striking black rocks (“Kala Pathar”) that line the shore. Though it is relatively far from the island’s main hub, the beach offers a peaceful setting, ideal for picnics or spending quiet time alone or with friends. Its natural beauty and tranquil environment make it a hidden gem worth visiting.
